Shikshantar stands as a steadfast advocate for our 75 students, championing their rights and advocating for their well-being. To effect sustainable change in children’s lives, Shikshantar concentrates on initiatives spanning mathematics, spoken English, environmental studies, and allowing all our students to explore extra curricular activities like music, dance and theatre. When you donate money to us, you not only support every child’s right to a happy, healthy, and fulfilling education but also avail up to a 50% tax exemption under section 80G on your hard-earned money.
Here’s where we will utilise your funds to help children of Shikshantar –
- Conducting daily classes – From Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM, we run our offline classes in Raheja Vihar, Crystal Centre.
- Curriculum Development – Since our students come from varying school s and learning levels, we invest in building customised workbooks and textbooks for them which ensures that each child gets the academic attention they deserve.
- Conducting Extra Curricular Activities – External Tutors conduct Storytelling, dancing and theatre classes so that the children are always motivated and encouraged
- Administration Costs – We rent out a small facility in Mumbai, and pay out salaries to our full time staff who helps in managing student attendance, enrollment, and counselling.
